Sylvia Ortega Smith: Sylvia is currently living in San Antonio, Texas and has led a very interesting and full life. She was voted "Most Likely to Succeed" and I think her class made a wise choice. She worked as a clerical worker in social services and found the work to be very rewarding. She also was a professional singer for a number of years working with groups from the 4th Army Band at Ft. Sam Houston, as well as local bands, most notably Emilio Caceres (listed in "Who's Who in Music"; composer and jazz violinist from Corpus Christi and from a musical family). She also worked in radio and television. She has 2 daughters, 2 sons, 14 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter whom she is very proud of. Sylvia is disappointed that she's having a hard time finding her classmates. On another classmate site, she located a Charles Zamzow but is wondering if anyone knows about C.H. Jarrett (a good artist in high school), Lindy Lewis (male voted "Most Likely to Succeed"), Aurora Gonzales (from Edcouch), Marilyn Davis, Barbara Lou Jones, Betty McDaniel, Agnes Pealor, Pattie Doshier (sp?) and Maxine Steckleberg (sp?).
